Yeah major PITA. Snapped one of at my dads with all my weight on it and was in a push-up formation. Bolt snapped and my head slammed into the concrete. Now i just saw them off....no more injuries

I placed a order at rock auto. Hopefully it comes today so i can start assembling.

Think i should paint the beam/spindles/backing plates myself or get them powdercoated? I wanna be cheap, but at the same time do it right the first time. And if it takes that extra 1-2 days down time i don't mind.

that POR 15 stuff? I am not fimiliar with it, got a link to the product? I got the all wheels done this morning still need to do the swaybar and it's brackets, ment to take pics but forgot the camera. I think i am going to have the beam and rear backing plates powder coated gloss black, then I am going to paint the spindles/outside of the hubs/calipers with brush on caliper paint.

I think it is the cheapest solution, and best for the long run. I'd primer it then spray it all with rustoleum, but don't want to drive it and a year later down the road the paint is chipped and rusting for Missouri's fine weather.

On a side note the Wheels look absolutely beautiful sandblasted from inside to outside. I'm going to buy 4 new hercules tires, and i found a place that still makes beauty trim rings new in either chrome ABS plastic, chrom plated metal, or stainless steel. Couple that with some mint center caps..... drool.
