    Early Christmas present for me..

Told my parents that I needed a new muffer for the car and they bought me a new one as an early christmas present
This is the one I got: http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Det...+59999+2999999

I'll install it tomorrow probably and finish up a few other things on the car (brakes, and swapping the radiator) and then hopefully get it inspected sometime next week so I can drive it next year!!

Not much has changed since the last update, I've just been working on little things here and there on it, and I got the push-button start wired up (works great!!) This week is my last week of school before Christmas break, so I'll have plenty of time then to get everything buttoned up and finally get the car ready for inspection, and then get this thing on the road!! Here's some current pics of it..

    Love these wheels

I made my bracket out of the brace under the dash that you remove when you install A/C. Cut it in half, and it works also as a mount for the coil in 90 up FI. Not as many 89 ATX cars to pull that part from, but I happen to still have one sitting there waiting for me to take parts off like that one. Thanks for the tip! I really like how it works out, and I will just have to do that too!

    Todays work.

Today I finally got around to swapping my pass side engine mount for the correct one..

correct one is the bottom one.

So now that issue is taken care of.

Also in preparation for the install of the FMS strut brace I bought from Silv3rBull3t I relocated the coil. I wanted it to look factory and remembered that the 89' ATX festy we have doesn't have that funky bracket for mounting the coil like the 90-93's do. So I robbed that from the 89' and used it on here. Cleaned things up a bit and gives me room for the strut brace.

89' ATX bracket on the right (also relocates the charcoal canister to a lower position)

Have to swap this hose too

    New position

coil installed in the 89' ATX bracket

Had to come up with a way to re-mount this..

So I cut off part of the old bracket and drilled a new hole in it.

    And done.

    Turned out nice I think.

    Honda S2000 push-button start

Thanks to Wes I got a push-botton start off a Honda S2000, looks sweet in place of where the cig lighter was IMO

Just have to wire it up now.

Scrappy has the same issue (and the LX too), it's in the dash wiring... there's a relay that grounds the lamp to turn it on and that relay has NOTHING to do with the oil pressure switch. as soon as i care enough to hunt it down, i'll post the problem and the fix. (both cars have at LEAST 40psi oil pressure)
