I went out and compared an auto and manual and it seems like the P/S mount shouldnt matter as far as the tilt goes. They are just different. Maybe you just have to use both the motor mount and the matching block bracket for it to be right. Maybe you just mixed an auto bracket with a manual mount.
Yep the trans from your B6 car is in my green car now. It looked like to me if I switched P/S mounts it would raise that side to where it should be. Right now the pass side sits too low. I'll get it straightened out somehow, the engine in the car came from a auto car (that white L+ I have) so I think the block brackets would be correct. I should name this car "Muttstiva" since it has parts from so many different cars on it..

I thought I had the right mount, since that was the mount that was in with all the L+ parts.. someone must have put the wrong mount on that car somewhere along the way..

Not yet, pretty sure it's the rear trans mount, this ones busted and in need of replacement..

I'd get that one from 66 but the day i made it over there they had crushed it already.....really didn't have much left of it basically a smashed front end and a missing rear. Tach cluster though.....

I'm telling you the whole starting issue is the park neutral switch on the trans....someone is bound to have one lying around.
Thanks Wes! and thanks a bunch for all the work you did on it!! I made a WTB thread about the switch and PM'd some people about it, but no luck yet..

    Runs and drives now!!!

Got the idle adjusted to where it should be, and drove it around the yard some. Seems to be running good feels good to finally get to drive it!! Not much left before it hits the road.. just have to install the aspire tie rod ends, fix the starting problem, work on the brakes a little more, and thats about it!
