^^ What he said; I've loved that color ever since the early Bond movies. Red pinstripe maybe?

Not a lot to report. With the Malibu in the crapper, the Fester has been pressed into daily service early. Not sure now when I'll get to paint. Cause basically everything I do, I have to be able to do in 2 days.

Did get the rack boots replaced, as well as the tie rods, couldn't find sway bar bushings (which I desperately needed) ended up making a set out of a piece of tractor tire I had. Should have taken pics. Forgot. The set on the car is a bit rough, cause I was kind of hurrying to get something made so I could put the car back together. The homemade's definitely work much better than the set that was on there. Going to make another set, when I'll hopefully be able to take a little time. Might do progression pics of that. Anyway, put it all back together, and it's like driving a totally different car. Nice and tight, very little slop in the wheel at all. Rides smooth as glass up to 75 mph. Loving it. Got a set of new hardware for the rear brakes. Brakes themselves were in good shape, but the springs were horribly loose. New stuff in, brakes release much, much better now. Curious to see if this effects my mileage at all. Refilled from damn near empty yesterday. 432 miles on the clock, took 10.2 gallons. So, still pretty much pulling a 43 mpg average. Changed the oil again. Just cause the oil I that I drained when I bought the car was fricking horrible looking. Figured new oil and a new filter couldn't hurt anything. More later.

^^ NAPA. They seem to be the only parts place that still has them. The local store had to have them shipped in from the warehouse.

I went and looked at the local Mcparts store and found some that were close enuf to fit and some zip ties and that's it.

Yeah, I think the ones I got are semi-universal. Zip ties hold them in place. If one of the ones on my car had been whole enough, I'd have taken one with me and compared. but other than at the hold down locations, mine were gone.
