Turns out I blew my third vj14. But in order to swap the manifold and turbo I have to pull the motor because my radiator is massive. So why not through in a whole motor. I "snaked" motor, cable g-series, wiring harness, ecu, int. shaft, and ecu basically everything b6t you could ever ask for, for $300. Walked up on a jackpot and the guy pulled everything.
My old b6t was leaking oil from everywhere. I replaced 2 front main seals this week and couldn't get it to stop. Also replaced cam seals. Still leaking. I think the valve cover I painted was chipped in 2 corners of the cover and it was letting oil by. Oh well not my problem now. Lol

The ford ranger fog bulbs 893?890?997? i think are a 35 watt. GM has one that fits and its 50-55 watt. I use those in my Dodge srt-4 with upgraded harness and no melting on the oem plastics. Yes i went to school and took English Comp LOL. Yes the ranger and dodge neon fog bulbs are the same.
I would just add a relay. What i did on my car for a while was flip the headlight and fog wires @ fuse box to run the fogs as driving lights when it's dusk but that got old and I think i get better mileage in my head running just one set of lights. My vacuum at idle is actually different, less load on the alternator.Last edited by getnpsi; 03-12-2012, 09:56 AM.
