I'll be planting all season, you dont want everything ripening at once. Stagger those planting. I spent the entire day on the garden and didnt plant a thing except some horseradish a buddy gave me.

No pain, no gain! Worst case, I can cover my tomatos, I probably spent less than $10 on the rest

Todays purchases: Four varieties of seed potatoes, three type of onion bulbs and two different types of onion sets and some shell beans. Ive got to cut up the seed potatoes and let them sit for a few days to scab over prior to planting in time for St Paddy day weekend. Oh yeah, bought some urea and triple super phosphate to get my soil up to snuff according to the Missouri Extension soil test.

Hardening off my tomatoes and peppers, god I LOVE the smell of tomato plants!!! They're like 6 inches tall already, too!
