I was making some mini greenhouses until my plastic came up 6" short. I found a good way to secure the plastic to the PVC. I removed a piece from a section of 1/2 pipe and made a clamp out of it. Snaps on good and tight. I can mass produce them on the table saw.
Marcus, what are your thoughts on using a modded Festiva as a farm "workhorse" like a tractor, mower, etc? For someone who doesn't already have a tractor, could you use a modded Festiva for any of this farm work?
Feel free to start a separate thread on it if you wish.
Karl
Oh yeah, Im sure you could. My mind is racing. I know you could use one like a gator. I used booger like a golf cart running back and forth on the place for awhile. Im sure a festiva would adapt to many tasks.

That area you tilled up will grow more than you'll be able to eat. Im going overboard. Preserving the produce becomes the problem. I learned a lot from last year. I be doing much more dehydrating this year. Its the best IMO for storage space , shelf life, nutritional valve, and taste. I bought a good dehydrator last year, wish I had another.
Went back out later and tilled up another area while I had the tiller on. I also wanted to see if I could go from virgin pasture to garden using the tiller without plowing first, I can. Love the smell of freshly tilled ground in the spring !!
I fluffed up the spot I plowed and limed last fall. Then I went and tilled the neighbors garden. The landpride tiller fluffs up the soil 6-8 inches, I love it. Also took the Junior out for its maiden run after rebuilding it over the winter, it works perfect. A lot less time on the hoe this year. Still need to add four pound of nitrogen and 16 pounds of phosphorus to the new plot. I noticed some lettuce had wintered over in one of my raised beds, pretty amazing. Hoping for some rain this evening to soak into the newly tilled gound.
Yeah I know. I can cover things though if needed. Clearly this hasn't been an average winter, lol.
He has planted 3 groupings of things so far. What look like cold season stuff, I can't tell. But he also set up his huge tomato cages... makes me think he put out seed.
