Ahh!! My neighbor planted!! I'm behind! Tomorrows tilling day. Today, I raked all the dead grass clumps out, and made a bit of a retaining wall to break up the hill a bit. Ran out of blocks though. It'll do for this season.

Hmmm potatoes..... Might have to get some of those too.

Do you have an Allis Chalmers model G tractor and a bradley potato planter ? Wish I did .

Call me crazy, but I think I'm actually going to start planting in the next couple of weeks.

Ill be planting seed potatoes and onion sets around St Paddies Day ( 3/17 ), maybe some early greens shortly after that.

My cold frame is working good. It was 38 degrees outside when I put the thermometer in. Got to a high of 45 today but the sun was out.

No they just dont look very robust. Kind of wimpy looking.

I am failing in comparison. I've set mine out in the cold frame several days, which seems to be helping, at least on the warmer days. Hoping for a comeback. My sugar peas are ready to go out now. Tator planting on St Paddies day coming soon.
