See there, you're already not getting it. You'll have to fab up everything. There are no "instructions for the setup". Yes, you can buy "a turbo", but after that you'll have to make everything else. You've got to go get the flat steel then you've got to make the manifold flanges. Then you've got to go get the tube steel bends, then make the bends work together.
Then this all has to be welded together, because there's is no aftermaket manifold made for the b3. I do know of a guy who can cut flanges from gaskets for you, but you'd still have to do the rest. Now you have to make your charge tube as well, then figure out, should I do a blow off or bypass valve setup. Oil line in and oil drain out, coolant lines in and out. Next your down pipe set up etc.etc.etc.
Believe me, I'm not trying to rain on your parade, but this is a monumental undertaking. Ask me how I know!
And if/when you do it wrong, you'll blow up the engine.

Here are some pics of my setup, all made by hand, and with a lot of assistance/favors. Click images to enlarge:

    From the bottom

This was originally a fuel injected b6, sohc 99% of the parts fit onto a b3. That's a forge bypass valve up top.

The turbo is a kkk k03

And these is only the things you can see...there's more to it. IMO

How about rods, pistons, ring and bearings. Will the B6 sets fit in a b3 with out any machining. If not anybody know where i can get rods/pistons for a
        B3??

Obviously the pistons and rings are, well, shall we say, slightly larger! (1.6 vs 1.3) I can't speak to the rods and bearings however, but a quick trip to rock auto for a comparison would answer those questions. Besides he want's to set up a b3 anyway.

I fabbed the mani, I had the flanges water jet cut out of 308 stainless from gaskets (4 in all) The flange against the engine, the flange against the turbo (the turbo is a kkk k03) The dump pipe flange against the turbo, and the end of the dump pipe to the down pipe for the exhaust. I bought 308 stainless bends, cut and fit them, then had a guy tig them and the flanges together.
Had to hang a merc vapor light on a barn for that one, apparantly he was afraid of hights, but man can that boy weld.
The steal cost me about $150, which goes to show you, if you pick a more popular "tuner" car Like a laser or an eclipse, you can
buy a ready made turbo mani for as little $80.

also what are you running for engine management on your stock ecu
I'm running my stock 97 aspire ecm, which runs the setup on the rich side. This happens because the ecm thinks it sending info to b3 sized injectors, thus making the injector "duty cycle" a little longer than it needs to be...except when ;-)
Additionally, I've got a water/meth injection system (CoolingMist Varicool II) on top of that, for extra fueling and heat disappation. That set me back another $500

remote turbos are easier but not as good. our b3 turbo would have torn yours up.. and it only took us two days to build it all from scratch and it had an intercooler and 10 psi zing

Ok ketchup i will agree that a front mount is better but for those looking to turbo a b3 the remote is alot easier (unless u are trying to sell manifolds) i spent 6 hours and less than $200 for my car to be turbo. If I needed an intercooler then i would put one on.This is not a good place to be bashing others creativity. We all share 1 thing FESTIVAS!!!! Prove that a remote is not as good as a front mount and i will believe u. Plus i promise mine gets more compliments. Let's just say good job and leave it at that . This is not a pissing contest!!!! Thanks

the bigest reason im going to stick with the conventional manifold turbo app is because im sure 100% it will not pass pennsylvania inspection and emmissions test, but i think its a cool idea

When I 'charged my old b3 I chopped the downpipe flange off an aspire manifold and welded on a turbo flange. Was simple, spooled 10psi by 2500 and hauled it. Oil supply/return and charge piping was straight forward. People typically go with a remote-mount when underhood space is extremely limited. Took this pic before I sold it on cl. I have another vj11 and aspire manifold I may put on my other car.
