this is goign to be an awesome setup, what kinda MS to you plan on running?

i read somewhere here that if you swap around some of the pins in the festiva wiring harness, that you can run a mazda miata computer.

Even though a miata computer maybe useless for this, it would mean you could run a megasquirt PNP and not have to worry about any wiring, they can be had for pretty cheap i bought mine for my miata 600$ brand new (can be had used for way less) and all i had to do was plug it in, install and tuning took less then an hour, and you could install a basemap that might be able to run the car right away, just with small little adjustments.

If im an idiot and this has been discussed already and is impossible shut me down plz, just thinking outloud.

I like your thinking, I have a B6 Miata ECM but have never tried it, cause the ign sys is different., If you have info, I'am all ears.....
Aspires and Sways all around, Miata B6 installed, KYB G2Rs just installed in front. Wish for coil overs someday.

i need to get 2 detailed wiring diagrams sideby side from the miata+festiva, if its just a matter of switching some pins/swapping some plugs just like the bp swap, then people could use megasquirt PNP's on there festivas, have a 600$ standalone that a 2 year old could program and install.

I love my MS PNP on my miata, i bought it, plugged it in, downloaded a base map and havent touched it since, plus i got rid of the stupid flapper MAF box + with some timing adjustments and fuel adjustments its good for 10-12 hp on a miata motor, more for me because i have cams, headers, port+polish etc etc

still doesnt break the bank either, to buy something for 600 bucks that works and takes 0 instal skill + you can plug and play toyota coil on plugs if one was crazy enough aswell,

nvm im an idiot, this is old news.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the DIYPNP product line has reached it’s end of life.  This F.A.Q. page will remain available for archive purposes. Is a DIYPNP fully assembled?  Do I just plug it in when it arrives? The DIYPNP ships in kit form and allows you to build a Plug-N-Play EMS for an incredible number of vehicles…

so are you going to make a manifold or just take some silcone couplings/ etc etcand cut the bp manifold and attatch that way?

Going to cut the manifold so I just have the flange then weld some pipes on to that. Then use rubber couplings to attach the tb's. I'll have to post more pics soon with whats done.

You interested in just a flange? I might be able to cast one for you, I have a CAD file worked out, just need to cut the pattern. Would be easy to weld to
