im scared of a rt i can just picture my car at a time attack taking a corner and putting 2 wheels off and the next berm ripping the turbo off,

that would be a pretty funny story... "so i was going so fast my turbo fell off, no really it did."

You guys are really making me want a turbo b3!!! I've never had a turbo car so a b3 would probably be the best start!

Well I think I found the turbo Im gonna use, a TD04-13g. I havent taken it off the car yet, Im just piecing everything together still. I think its a T3 flange? Does anyone know for sure? Would the 1g DSM injectors work in my B3 fuel rail once I turbo it? Thanks for the replies...

That tdo4 is for a 2.0 liter 16 valve engine, if it came off a dsm then it's probably got a dsm type flange although they do make them with a t3 flange. I kinda looks like a t3 flange, but turned sideways. I want to say the 1st gen tdo4 cars (automatics) had 370cc injectors and the tdo5 cars (5 speeds) had 440cc injectors. I think that will be too much turbo for the b3 imo, consider something found on like sized engines for more street ability.
                            I run a KKK K03 on my 1.6 liter (8 valve)...it was sized to a 1.8 liter (20 valve Audi) engine.
I get boost at 2,500 rpms

vj11 came on a 2.2 and was perfect on my b3. It spooled very fast. Remember, just about all factory turbo cars came with an undersized turbo for low end pep so dont base a turbo choice on what size engine it came on from the factory.

dank- run some dsm injectors with the festiva ecu and you will get the same mpg as those bigger engined cars.

                              I got 22 mpg and 10:1 - 10.5:1 afr's cruising with bp injectors in the b3 w/ vj11. was enough fuel for 12-13:1 afr at 15psi.

I'm so torn now. I wanted a frankenB so bad, but throwing a turbo on a stock rebuilt B3 sounds like a nice idea. Grrr.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
