Remember, just about all factory b3 engines have cast pistons, stock non-moly rings, and higher than turbo friendly compression ratio's! lol right!
Get a smaller turbo unless you want your engine to more closely resemble Afganstan's economy.

dank- run some dsm injectors with the festiva ecu and you will get the same mpg as those bigger engined cars.

      I got 22 mpg and 10:1 - 10.5:1 afr's cruising with bp injectors in the b3 w/ vj11. was enough fuel for 12-13:1 afr at 15psi.
i think the turbo i have is a vj11 its only about as big as my fist its perfect for a b3 or b6
-90 festiva - bp swap "relentless" (thanks matt) aspire swap, pacesetter, underdrive pulley
-90 festiva - surf blue (undetermined destiny) wanna keep but wifey says noooooooo

has enyone blew up a b3 to peices because of too much boost yet?

im thinking with a good tune these motors could handle quite a bit of boost.

I think the walls are too thin to hold that much boost.

You can blow your motor if you run bad gas or too much timing and let it knock itself to death.

                its all in the tune.

my b3t's didnt care that they had cast pistons and 9.whatever:1 compression. I dogged it daily for a looong time and it loved the abuse.

I'm not saying you can go out and make 300hp on a stock internal b3, but its just a b3. boost it and have fun with the extra power. It was more fun than a bp.

Get the j pipe and the down pipe and Grab the recirc valve on the charge pipe, or even the charge pipe itself. Take the old gasket so you can compare it when you're looking at flanges and gaskets. The ecm has market value.

Nope. Walls are plenty thick, especially if you're keeping it stock bore.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

I've boosted the crap out of the B6T, and even high CR N/A longblock, so I dont see why you couldn't with a B3

Just keep your timing & fuel in check. You could probably do well with B6T electronics, they're pretty damned flexible. You probably only need 300cc injectors, DSM 440 or 460's are a little overkill especially for running a VJ11. Very hard to tune down fuel for idle with larger injectors though, good luck hitting your mileage goals with them

I may be getting a C26 off an older supra do you think that it will be way to big? cause i might be getting it for free! so i would prob have to run semi big injectors right?
