  • My experience with Paypal in this kind of situation has been very good. File a dispute with as much info as you can and they are fairly quick to refund.

          • For no tune id not rev it higher than 4500 until i knew my air fuel ratios were ok and there was no knocking. Remember that 1.5 has higher compression than the 9.4:1? of all the b engines. However the larger head is going to lower it some but since no one took measurements it's going to take some guessing and lots of fun seat time

I feel like selling my engine and just copying this guy.

            • thanks for all the kind words everyone!

right now its just the battle to get it running N/A, my turbo should be in tomo so by next week gauges installed + exhaust work done.. drive it around N/A for a week, do some tuning install my FMU + fuel pump + fuel press gauge and than start booooosting!

got a quick Q' for you guys, how good is the stock b3 fuel pump good to psi wise?

also how else does everyone install there fuel pressure gauges? and where do you install it ? i think its before the FMU on the return line if im correct.?

              • Mine had several ports so i was able to put a mechanical screw in type on it to set base and an additional electric sender going to the cabin. What do you have?

i havent bought one, i have a FMU, so all i really need is the gauge itself to read the pressure in the line, i was thinking cheapest soln would be a mechanical one in the engine bay.?

                  • Yes. Use in baymechanical. Most of the popular pressure regulators have more ports if you are building a new system from scratch. In my case the cars don't have a return line so we use the regulator to up pressure and divert back to the filler neck.

all thats left to do is:

                                -Install boost gauge
-Find good fuel pump that can handle 80 psi (how about a stock 323 gtx one? can it bolt right into festiva?)
                                -Install Fuel Press gauge,
                                -Connect exhaust

                                Thats it!
