Lots of things that really matter for a little more money, like where does the heat go from more power? How do you direct that additional heat away from the headgasket and the rings? How do you control combustion to produce more pressure on the piston without detonation? For this you spend well under the going rate for this technology.

A budget build can produce more power without a doubt but the result should not be flogged with impunity and expect it to hold up to performance use!

I need a set of these when I do my motor. I'm more than happy to order a set once I measure up my block.

      Great setup.

Hm. Wasn't intended to be offensive.

Guess after being banned from hundreds of sites and netblocks, I have a different point of view.

Regardless, I'm sure it's quality work. And since these were cut on a multiple axis mill, I'll assume, if he did the cut himself, he does have more skill then me, as I've never used a mill of that type.

And make note of my previous post. I'm upset I didn't have opportunity to use this kit to achieve my CR. I had to get wild and risky.

No one is trying to make you change your point of view, but the words you choose matter. Might be the cause for all the banning. You are dealing with actual people, not "just the net".

Your criticism is either funny or infuriating!! Every part that I produce for you guys, I have virtually been begged to make. This is CLEARLY the case of, "IF I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT, I WILL CRITICIZE IT" and from my prospective, the enthusiast criticizing the expert. Few of you know the extent of the work we do here. ONLY the common features of our pistons were shared because specs such as the pin offset, ring location & spread, & the reason for them wouldn't be understood anyways. These pistons actually have 38 specific features of which ALL have an intended purpose. And no offense intended, but I frankly refuse to except criticism from someone who describes their OWN engine build as "THEIR DISASTER" & is clearly a compilation of mistakes. Plagued with drivability problems, runs great when it runs, built for economy, but runs 10's or 11's.

I am honestly impressed with your piston kit. Engineering fascinates me.

I was told 020 is the limit. I pushed the envelope, twice. First was 0.038, 2nd was this 0.048, , been driving daily on the 48, just busted 2k miles. .

10 and 11s was referring to compression ratio, not quarter runs.

I milled blindly and changed chamber size blindly. So a guess at best for ratio. ..

Reason I'm kinda bummed you whipped these out after I put my disaster together.

Erm wait, how about mad scientist project? Now, my head mill amount, with your pistons, that sounds like a fun experiment.

                *accept, just saying!

I want to know how all these products make that power with a stock ecu. The whole day or so I ran my b6 on b3 electronics you could feel it was just not right, and its only 20 extra HP that the CPU didn't know what to do with.

Love your products though, the thought of a built b3 is mind blowing. I think the same can be said from a lot of my cohorts I've spoken with recently too, hopefully one of these days you'll come out with a product line a guy can afford! ....yea I know custom+

There will always be the few, the proud, the put their head up where the sun don't shine. Why let it bother you? You have a fantastic product-the few will never know it, but you know it and now most members can know it because you are explaining it. Everything I ever learned I learned from a teacher.

Pistons alone are $585, call around no piston manufacturer will beat my price untill you order 40 pieces. But pistons are worthless with out pin fit, pins locks and rings, hence the $860.

Zoom Zoom, our b3 festiva makes 112-117 hp at the wheels with the stock ecu and no problems , but we've tuned the untunable here. But at some point stand alone efi is required , trying to give the parts needed for the next level of performance, had 12 guys tell me if i make these pistons they'll buy . You'd think i'd a learned by now.

The machining on these pistons are a work of art! Mad props!!!

Oh, man. On behalf of those who told you that, I apologize. Seriously.

If they were made to use normal rings, pins, were lower comp, etc, and were priced to reflect all that, I could see you moving double that number quite easily, but at this level of performance/cost, I'd lay money(if I had any ) they were being QUITE "optimistic". To put things in perspective, just even going to standalone EFI (as cheap as it is in the grande scheme) is something almost everyone on here shys away from, sad to say.

I genuinely hope I'm wrong, though.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

If you use normal rings, pins and lower the compression all you have is stock replacement forged piston with weak components that would negate the piston .I used this opportunity to make not only a bullet proof piston, but to make the piston a power producing component! This is what sets us apart , I look at EVERY component in an engine as having an influence on power whether directly or indirectly.
