I originally was going to use an msd retard module and an fmu. Went megasquirt instead. Best thing I could have done. Been daily driving it for a few years now, it's been reliable . Just wanted to say that it is not easy to set up but the ability to actually adjust fuel and timing is great. I'm running the stock fuel system and could easily get 9:1 afrs at 6 psi boost if I really wanted.

i bought my ms2 from here it only took a weekend to put together if your just going to run fuel you could probably use a ms1 its a little cheaper it'll be allot better to be able to actually tune your fuel with a turbo you dont want to blow a head gasket from running to lean

The way Euro mentioned is the cheapest easiest.

        Just grab one of these

And put in an extra fuel pump. Here's a cheap one.

        Then babababoost.

Yeah don't bother with a wideband, you don't need to know if you're lean or rich in real time..

That is true about the wideband it takes a real long time to melt an aluminum piston or burn a valve.

People used to tune boosted cars without widebands. EGT is cheaper and works too.

It's a lot of convenience and insurance for $150 though.

Wideband will let you know much quicker if you have a problem with fuel delivery . I have both. The autometer egt is a much slower responding gauge. I agree that tuning by Temps could work why not use newer methods that cost marginally more. A 150 dollar wide band isn't that much considering an egt can run you 70 bucks. You want to tune it for reliabity. Not just power.

Golly for more accuracy they should narrow the band..
