I'd rather have weight on the tires then no weight. Imagine pickup vs fwd Cadillac in the snow

200 hp sounds like a blast but what about 350whp haha something that just rockets on any straight

Haha it's a good thing I'm 1/2 way through forward mounting 1.75" maybe on super high hp festiva I'll go for 2.75-3.5

Be careful about your axle angles. Too much set back is bad on your axles.

Too much set back could also cause the cv shafts to pull out of the knuckles cause too short.

Wider tires DO NOT mean more driving traction with typical street tires (wrinkle wall slicks or tires designed for racing are different.)
You only need wider tires for cornering stability. 165mm tires hook up better than 205mm tires regardless of how much TQ you have at the wheels. This is because there is more pressure on the contact patch.

A 200hp 200ftlb tq festiva on street tires will be faster than a 350hp festiva unless your extremely talented at driving. A festiva can only use around 200ft.lbs of TQ on commonly available street tires before traction is lost. Wheelspin is slow. I STRONGLY suggest starting off with around 180-200hp. The car will be relatively easy to drive and still feel manageable, but will pull alongside supercars and sportbikes.
Building a car to look good on a dyno and spin the tires when you stomp the gas is pointless IMHO. If you want something that performs well and is fun to drive, don't let HP numbers be your goal. Trust me, passing a Ferrari on a race track is more fun than putting 350whp down on a dyno day. A new VW with a tune will crank out 350hp, so your not going to impress anyone. Lol. But, rip past that 350hp GTI on a straight stretch and watch the jaws drop. You won't be able to do that with a poorly built car.
Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

my festy only made 256whp and 232wtq and ran a 12.2@113. it was 100% stock engine with 14psi on 91 octane and megasquirt. you dont need alot of power if you dont add alot of weight. i cant imagine how terrible traction is in a 300+whp festy, i could brake boost in 3rd gear at 60mph and do rolling smoke shows with 205/50/15 tires
I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

Oh yeah no I have no intention of doing this soon I'm gonna run like 5 psi in a stock bp+T for a while this is just kinda a feeler post for a build plan haha but ok so 165 is about maximum for acceleration I was thinking at higher speed like highway accelerating maybe you could put 350 to the ground (keep in mind I'm just a kid who reads about builds alot not much actual experience) but I gotta be honest if if I have the ability to get wheelspin just from accelerating at 60+ thatd make me smile haha not a constant thing just the occasional little high-speed burnout haha (like I said still a kid) but it's just neat to think about but the sounds a 82 mm turbo will make at 20-25 psi now that's beautiful and I'm loving bhearts idea of a small Eaton supercharger + the 82mm turbo (I know very excessive but hey this is a no expense spared mental build)
