    I know its pointless but it is fun.

      Cool thing about super turbo with an Eaton is that you could choose your spool response by setting the boost on the supercharger with the bypass valve and actuator. It could run 15psi, but let's say you're only feeling like 5psi today for easier driving, totally doable.

          Really? I didn't know sc's were adjustable like that wait are you talking twin screw or centrifugal thatd be awesome can you run a twin screw on adjustable boost besides under drive pullys

            Roots. Like a m90,62

            If a m90 makes 8psi on a 3.8l engine, it should make just over double that on a 1.8l if you keep the blower speed gearing the same. And then you could adjust it anywhere from a little boost to all the boost with a wastegate actuator.

                      If the bp has a similar exhaust cfm as the vw 1.8t 20v then the 82 mm will come alive and very violent at 5k-5500

                          You think so? I think I'd be awesome accelerating kinda meh not very fast not very slow then turbo wakes up forces you into the seat hard very suddenly personally I'd prefer it at 3k rpm which from the sounds of it the supercharger will make it a much smoother transition but also alot more bottom end

                            If anything over 250hp is useless, you might as well go all out with a super turbo. I'd rather have too much turbo turned down, than too little turbo turned up

                              True a 82 mm will have a a ton of flow so 15 psi will probably get you over 250whp and useless depends on definition haha wheelspin is still fun for me to an extent tires get expensive haha

                                But, you got to be careful when picking out the right turbo. If you run too low of boost you can get surging which is when the impeller speed isn't high enough and the pressurized air tries to go backwards through it. So it's unrealistic to want a 600hp turbo to run at 250hp pressure levels
