    I'll get a measurement of mine tonight. I bet it's that low with the 175 50 13 tires. It drags the tow hooks when I'm not careful on driveways and such.
    You'd need a hood lIke the GTX hood if you want to raise the engine. If you used a g25mr with the angled bell housing, you may get a little space too because it'll tip the engine a bit.
    I used to take out oil pans in my VW FWD cars all the time. I even made a belly pan to protect them, but I've never dented one on a Festiva. Maybe I'm just older now and better at driving. Lol.
    Either way, to each thier own. I'll try to get you some good pictures of what it looks like under there when your dumped. My car is as low as you can go without some sort of a body drop. I'm raising it tonight though, it doesn't handle as well this low.

      I just remembered that the BP has a crazy shaped oil pan. So, yeah, I can see that being an issue. Maybe a pan from a b8 would give you some room? I don't remember what that pan looks like, but they are super common because the yard is always full of b8 mazdas.

                  As promised;

                  This is how far the sway bar is off the ground with my 165/55-14 tires. The car would be almost an inch lower with 175/50-13 tires, and I could lower it more too. If I go any lower with the 14" tires it'll rub the inner fenders over every bump.

                  The engine is 3/8" lower than stock, but the b6d pan doesn't hang lower than the bottom of the car.

                  I raised it about an inch after I took these pictures. I ran it slammed for a couple months (but I rarely drive it in the summer because there's no AC and it's crazy hot here). The car rides comfortably at this height, but it doesn't handle as well as it did when I was up higher. It spins the tires easily, when it's low like this, but it hooks up great about an inch or so higher.
