Well the manual Capri pedal assemblies are very close between the two, the bolt pattern for the Capri master cylinder is the same as where the cable bolts to the firewall. You may only need to drill the pedal arm and add an actuator rod. I have both pedal assemblies here if you really wanted I could pull them out and take pictures. I don't think the Festy bolt pattern is the same though, now that I think of it.

Theoretically you wouldn't have to really swap anything at all

please, the photos for reference would be really ideal.. out of curiosity, could i get a comparitive shot of the festiva and capri pedal setups so i could easily tell the differences and debate with myself as to which of the two pedal sets i'd use.

      thanks rocketman.

what is the cause of the 2" of travel?

The next two questions are dependant on the answer from the first question.

wouldn't there be just a simple matter of bleeding the clutch to "recover" the two inches?
could you modify the hydralic shaft to "compensate" for the two inches of travel?

Travel is a result of pedal geometry. The master cylinder is mounted in clutch cable hole. This is down from where it needs to be making the lever, or clutch pedal shorter.

DEAD THREAD!... But is this the best option for a hydro clutch? I have an f out of a GT and damn if its not cheaper to run that then find a new cable setup.
