  • Coil-overs from mk2-3 golf on festiva write up (pics)

Ok so i decided i should have a little write up on installing coilovers on the festiva.

    Coil-overs:

    Rokkor coil-overs for a mk2-3 golf $338 cdn
    380 (Front) 300 (Rear)

Follow rokkortuning on eBay. Buying, Selling, Collecting on eBay has never been more exciting!

They are the same as racelands but a bit cheaper and with a higher spring rate.

Looks good! What all work did you have to do to get them to fit? The only thing I could see was drilling out the bolt hole.

^ You shouldn't let your caliper just dangle like that, stretches the brake hose.. get some wire and hang it off the spring.

I had to drill out the bottom hole and on the top hat make the hole a bit bigger for the shaft.

any idea what the helper spring is rated to? im hoping that little spring will take most o the small bumps and make it a smooth ride, then when you start getting in to the hard corners then the big spring will take over....

Helper springs are only there to prevent the big spring from getting unseated.
