    This is a wonderful thread.
7 years ago I near made it up a mountain trail/goat track in Newfoundland with my Festy (and 500 lb of gear in the back) when the wheels couldn't handle the steep incline-loose gravel anymore. Same spot that ATVs couldn't traverse either. Lots of wealthy, or bank-indebted, folks are spending millions on 2 passenger ATVs these days but those engine platforms are not licensed for the road and never will be. Festys have a roof, glass all around and a heater and (much more important) are legislatively defined as 'cars'. .... that conceivably can be adapted for 'off road' use.
Merely swapping in Aspire springs already lifts a Festy far enough off the ground to qualify as 'off road practical'.

I need a wrecked one of these from copart or a owner and one of the good clean
shells of Festiva from one of our wrecking yards. There are no inspections here unless
you submit a "new build" for a new title...guess I need a titled festy shell!!

Cut the floor out completely and join to UTV floor, stripp all but the rear quarters
and the front fenders and windshield. Make aluminum tubular doors. Use the seats
and all but the body of the UTV including electronics steering and dash.

Change to STI tires and bingo..street legal fstbuggy!

Weird...there usually is an Aspire at one of the three Pick n Pulls in KC. I'm seeing one there now at the Winner Rd one. On the yard since 5/8 so it's pretty new.

PnP has their inventory online and you can search before you go...even tells you what row it's on. Pretty convenient!
