I came up with a better routing for the air duct. You remember the first attempt below.
Here is the new set up. Lower profile, simpler, doesnt interfere with any thing, and looks better IMO. I think its a keeper until I find some thing better. I can keep the original MAF and battery locations so I dont have to reroute the MAF wires and battery cables and keeps the stock look. What do you think ?

A rainy spring day off at the ranch (FTW) ....ahhhh !!
Not a lot of room at the rear of the engine compartment after the swap, maybe 3/4 inch at the closest point. Need to get to a car wash to degrease under the fender wells.

Nope, still have to put in a clutch cable and shifter linkage,( its an auto to five speed swap too ) and get a battery. Oh yeah, and add fluids, probably dont want to forget that .Last edited by freshtiva; 04-18-2009, 07:58 PM.sigpic
