Did you require any spacers to get them to fit? 3. How much did you cut your springs and do you have any rubbing issues? Thanks for any answers you can give. Again the car looks AWESOME and I can only hope mine will look that good some day.

The wheels are off early mazda miatas....most people refer to them as the "daisy" wheels. Don't need spacers to fit them, but you do need the aspire swap since the bolt pattern is 4x100. Tires are 185/60r14 I believe, and I do rub every now and then in the back over large bumps. I cut two coils outta all the springs. I've got brand new kyb shocks and FMS springs to go on it, but I just wanted to try cutting the springs before I put all that on.

Haha, nothing special about the engine yet. Still trying to track down a B8 to drop into her!

    • Hey, I saw a Toyota ECHO with a set of stock sideskirts... Looked plastic. Definitely trimmable, but I dunno the wheelbase in comparison with the Festiva. Maybe check the JY for one of those. Looked like the only thing on the car that made it anything more than a kiddie-drawn ride.

Just for you CHills....Couple of quick pics to show off that nice new windshield!

On a side note, I'm thinking of painting the bronze part of my wheels purple....think it will make them pop a little more, but mainly because the Hulk had purple pants!

              • Car looks awesome. Maybe this sounds ricer or somethin', but I saw some carbon-fiber look automotive tape that maybe you could put on your hood and fool people. Thought about doin' it with mine, but if time is money, I'm flat broke.

Haha, I'm diggin the flat black look of the hood now. The only reason I didn't paint the hood green too is because I went in on the group buy of fiberglass/carbon fiber hoods from FestivaWes, and I'll paint that one green.

Yeah, but he knew he could get away with wearing purple pants....if anyone gave him any lip about them he would just hulk out and go nuts on them!

Hey pr0nst4r, you think you could do a quick photoshop to make my wheels purple so I can see how it'll look? Maybe try it on the second pic of my car a few pages back...

                              • IMO, purple is definitely a bad idea. I'd say paint the rim, lip, and extruding accents gloss black, polish the spokes, and if you still have that green paint, pinstripe a ring 1/8" along the center of the lip all the way around. Then on one of the extruding accents of all 4 rims, write HULKSTIVA in the same green paint! Real sporty. 'Cause you have a black hood for now, and tinted windows. Purple on that car would scream 'BARNEY' and not Hulk. Check out the ride from Tokyo Drift!
