    A/C progress

Well, last night I decided to pull the dash so I could mod the blower box.
The box was smashed during BP install and when you turn fan on it would scrape. I got the dash pulled in about hour, "thanks to haynes manual"
I got the blower box out and here is my progress.
Fiberglassed the box after cutting it, and cut away some of the padding on firewall for more clearance. soon to reinstall everything and have A/C!

After many attempts at A/C install I have decided to end it!
After FM4 I will be stripping My red festy and rebuilding it with the parts from the blue monster. With the GTX intake Im getting from charlie I wont have to damage the firewall on it. Not sure what I plan with the Blue bandit yet.

Going to track to see my 1/8 times before trans craps out all the way... Its been making horrible noises lately.

^Never made it to the track... Car kept over heating and spewing coolant everywhere.
Come to find out, It was because I had the condensor installed! Took it out and Been running fine all weekend! 510 mile round trip in excess of 85 MPH's to Nashville TN and back while achieving 36.2 MPG's according to my math.
I got my GTX intake from charlie while there.
In the process of "Redoing and Repainting" but here is a pic from the trip.
"Wheel spins with smoke thru 1st and 2nd gear with 3rd chirping for about 3 spins before gripping and darting up to speed" since I removed my Backseat and bumpers.

            Paint progress update

            THIS IS MY 600th POST!!!!!!

Replacing the LCA'S and Tie-rods and Sway bar bushings along with 14 inch DATSUN "slots". and replacing the clutch for the first time since BP install
            (5000 miles!) ago.
Decided since I have fixed most all "problems" that haunted me since owning the festy that I could focus on the paint. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
My goal is a LIME GREEN festy with the bumpers BLACK along with the sides below the "trim pieces" BLACK also. Plus the spoiler will stay BLACK with LIME GREEN caps. Here is some of the progress. It looks way better in person! A painter down the road is going to CLEAR-COAT the whole car when I am done.
The hood was me playing around, NOT staying yellow!

                    Front end put back together

Still needs another coat.(that's just one coat on hood)
Working on an idea with the blinker slots.
The shadow's make it look kinda "off" color, But its all the same.

Ever find one? Summit is very cheap on BP headers.

Nice looking. Those GTS logos on the headlight covers don't annoy the life out of you? They just peel off you know.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.
