My KLZE Festiva Build Thread

So tonight I pulled the KL31 (true ZE cams) from my old motor and re-installed them into the current motor, put in the new valve cover gaskets and bolted the valve covers back on

Now the rest of the engine assembly should go fairly quick since I'm passed the time consuming crap, shooting for start up by the end of the week

I've never had heat in my garage, but standing in one spot for a couple hours cleaning gasket surfaces got to me tonight lol

Tonight I got the block and heads all cleaned up and re-installed, once I got the head bolts torqued my toes were getting numb from the cold so I called it a night

Tomorrow afternoon I'll be pulling the KL31 cams from the first KL to use in this one, might as well get a bit more power since the cams are out of the heads right now anyway

Sounds good Eric I'm hoping tonight to get the heads bolted back onto the block and pick away at it the rest of the week

... tonight i got the heads off so i can finally get new headgaskets installed, i'm hoping tomorrow to get the heads back on...

So weird to read on this forum! I'm used to singular head and singular headgasket, haha.
