                      • Spent a couple hours on the festiva tonight and got the motor back in the engine bay

Here's a little bracket i made up to support my oil return line

And as you can see, the return line has a nice downhill slope all the way from the turbo to oil pan

I only have a few more things to tidy up on it and i will be able to fire it up and move it around under its own power again

And for anyone who says my return line will swell up and cause issues, i have a chunk of it sitting in a bucket of oil right now, it's been soaking for 3+ days already and no sign of swelling, i'll be keeping an eye on it to see if i will actually end up having issues or not

Maybe a hard line there instead? Just askin'!

                          • That is honestly where I have to run the line, once my rad is in place, the return line must go where it is,

a hard line is definitely not a bad idea though but there is about 1" clearance between the line and manifold, and remember I will be adding lots of header wrap which will help out lol

                            • He could aways wrap the hose with aluminum foil. I did it on the ecu harness of my element, it was very close to the turbine housing and couldn't be moved any further away.

Good deal. If you use hard line in between the two custom supports you made, you should lose 3/4 of your pipe wall diameter, and open up more space.
