if they are at a good price that would probley save me aot of time and money trying to find a 323 gt trans to put back in my 323 gt... if i could just pick up a escort gt trans and throw it in and put this piece on it that would be great...

I like your midshaft mount, probably the best way to do it. Thats how ill do my mount on my next swap. And about crank pulley clearance.. are you going to have a/c? why the extra pulley? you could use a double v-belt pulley for more clearance maybe?

Yeah probably good you are notching the frame rail if you have to use that outer belt instead of removing it. My alternator was sitting that close on one of my BP installs, any time I went around a sharp corner fast it would hit and make a fun noise.
