ok well im starting this thread because i plan on doing a b8 swap within the next week or so. ive done ALOT of reading along with the great words of wisdom from eurotiva. i currently have a 92 festiva gl. The motors dead so why not a better time than to drop a b8 in??...hehe i really wanted to get you guys some pics before i started the swap, but no access to a picture taking device...lol on another note i have just recently got ahold of a b8 out of a protege. It just needs a head gasket. Pulled the motor in the protege out today. I know im gonna need a set of capri axels. so ending with that note im gonna go and work on it some more....so psyched cant wait to get it to run and drive it to the 1st annual sunshine meet!!

If you are using a f-series ....you will need non-turbo capri axles.
If you are using a g-series....you will need a mid-shaft, and axles.
Also you will need whichever clutch, flywheel from the series you are using.
Capris are the only platform that is the same width as a festiva. And have the same outer spline count on the axles.-Greg
