test drove the festiva with open downpipe yesterday

had some major tire rubbing issues the first and second time, by the third time i had the car high enough, no more rubbing issues

mazda went bye bye this weekend too

i started getting rid of things i dont need, and i got my exhaust installed today

when i test drove the car today, it pulls really hard up till about 10lbs which is about 4500-5000 rpms, then the car just kinda cuts out, idk if its fuel or boost or what any ideas??? (btw i have reich racing ecu)

    Mazda going bye bye

    Stuff i dont need

    new ride height

Today my uncle came over, he is a ford master tech, of course it was raining all day, but we were determined to get my festiva running today, after 4 long hours in the rain we found the problem.

As with wiring it was something simple, someone had been in the wiring before and a couple of the dist. wires going to the connector were severed.

a Few soldered wires later the fastiva was born.

here is a video for your pleasure

so i wired up the coil (correctly) today and i cut open the knock box connection and found the webbing stuff, i grounded that, and i got nothing, i used a remote start to turn the engine over but i got no spark and no power to the ignition coil. and when i turn the key nothing at all happens

im thinking i did something wrong under the dash, i followed chris's write up, i guess im gonna take it apart and double check everything and see what happens.

if anyone has any input i would love to here it, many thanks

the chris rummel write-up is basically useless for the 323 harness, they are very different

and on a sad note i was finishing up my b6t swap today plugged everything in put the fluids in turn the key and nothing.

I used a 323 gt harness so its a little different than the capri.

I have power to the starter and the festiva fuse block but none to the coil pack.(im confused on the coil, do you use the festiva harness to the coil or the b6t harness to the coil) So if someone could help me out i would be forever grateful, Thanks
