Yeah, Im going to have to give the 3M stripe off wheel a two thumbs up rating. Cleaned off one side in about 15 mins. Still need to wipe off remaining adhesive. I left the Springer part since its a historic festiva designation. I bought a new axle for the right side and its got a gear like ring on it as pictured, anyone ever see this before. Hope its the right part. They double checked at Oreillys.

Stripe off wheel results, 15 minutes of work.

Duh... brake shoes I mean. Yeah, Im all finished with the wheel . It started out at 4 1/2 inches across and I did the whole car and its 4 inches across now. It would do a couple more cars at least. Well worth the $40 cost !!

Started the day on the donor car removing the front end out from under it. That way I could choose the best of parts for the rebuild car.

Extra parts for the project car,

Drained the tank today , of course it had nearly five gallons of old fuel in it. Could only use a one gallon catch pan because of the low drain point. Gonna go get some fresh gas, put in a battery, and give it a whirl.

Alright! Time to see another festiva back in action! Still working on my resurrection of "Chuck" but the time is getting closer for sure.
                    No festiva for me ATM...
