Picked up a MOMO knock off from a buddy for $15. I guess I will need some sort of hub or mounting bracket. I believe it has six bolts. Any ideas what I will need to get this mounted?

Original JL Audio system when I started this build sold with the Ford Ranger. Have since pieced together this the system:

        Kenwood KDC-BT742U 50W iPod/HD Radio-Ready Car Receiver
        2 JVC 6.5" front speakers
2 Sony xplode 6.5" rear speakers
        2 Memphis 10" Subs
        2 Image Dynamic 10"subs
1 1000 Watt MTX Mono Block Sub Amp
        1 720 Watt Jensen 4 Channel Amp
        1 Boss Crossover

I am waiting to install until I get the auto-lock conversion, keyless entry, alarm, and tint. Do not want my Festy or gear getting terrorized.

No worries bro, long weekend. Besides we got a lot done on Friday. We'll hit it hard this week if possible and maybe have this baby started by the end of this coming weekend.

Wanna set-up a work night on Tuesday and see if we can get Nathan, Ricky, and Randy over?

                • Suspension Swap

Had six guys in the lab tonight working on the Festiva. Swapped the front spindles from the 91 Protege, front sway bar and rear beam along with brakes from Aspire, pulled the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump, got the block pressure washed, and put on the new wheels and tires. All in all, I'd say we cranked out the work.

Hoping to hit it hard again tomorrow. Want to finish painting the seats, get the bumper covers secured (they are just in place right now for pics), and possibly run the audio wiring, rear mount battery, and install Aspire e-brake cable.

                    • Thanks sasquatch. They will look even better real soon. Getting some chromey acorn lug nuts and hoping to do the lug conversion on the rear, paint the calipers and drums, and clean up the wheel wells.

                        • Porting Head 50% Done

We are half way done porting the head. Separate thread coming soon on our porting process. Head should be finished this weekend and will take to the machine shop on Monday to machine the top and the valve seats. Should have the engine reassembled by Tuesday and start on the mounts. If all goes well, first start should happen late next week.

Also, re-installed headliner, most of the interior panels, and zip-tied the bumpers back on. E-brake cable is ran inside and should finish interior tomorrow.

                          • Outstanding job on this build, you will be rewarded for going the extra mile. Just a thought, the wheels would look cool with a thin blue ( body matching blue ) pinstripe around the very outside of the rim or a complimentary colored center cap.

                              • Hood Pins

Ordered some hood pins today. Can't wait for them to come in. I painted the hood flat black for now until I can get the car painted. These hood pins will be a nice accent. Eventually I plan on painting the car Satin Black with a Gloss Black racing stripe. Will make sure to keep some parts Festy Blue though as an accent.
