Yep, Krylon "True Blue". Maybe someday I'll tear it down and do a real job, but for now maybe a good buffing will do the trick. The only thing I have wet sanded and cleared are the front fenders.

Went to install my variable intermittent wiper switch today. Kept on blowing the fuse.

Did a search and found this:
Post your Festiva or Aspire repair and maintenance issues. - USE THIS FORUM FOR ANY TECHNICAL RELATED POST (IE. How do I change my oil?, How to remove axle from tranny?, etc)

I too won my switch from OSX and it must be the wrong one.

Guess I'm off to see if I can find me another.

Unsure. The module is larger than the festy one.

ya thats the mpv one.... it fits, plugs in and looks like it will work but the wiring is wrong, it will blow the fuse every time... had to learn that the hard way you can use the mpv arm but you have to use a diffrent delay box (the smaller one found in the festy, 323 and 626...)

Thanks! Looking forward to one of those Capri meets that Brad went to earlier this year. I have Capri fever right now and am sort of looking to buy one, so keep your eyes peeled for me. Will likely want another Rocketchip if I find a daily XR2. Yeah the shop's great, until last year though I had to rough it in the driveway. I know your pain.

Getting ready to spend some tax money for a full gasket kit.

                    Thinking of this one:

Also still debating on whether or not to get Raceland Coilovers. These:

Also want one of these. Not sure about the 2.5" though.

And maybe this, although my stock clutch is fine.

Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for F1 RACING COMPLETE STAGE 3 PERFORMANCE RACE CLUTCH KIT at the best online prices at eBay! Free shipping for many products!

Mainly looking for opinions on the Rock Products gasket set but thoughts on anything else is appreciated. Will be doing a timing belt kit and water pump as well.

Edit: Oh, and I'm somewhat thinking of the Mfactory LSD if I can find one for less than retail ($669). Trying to prevent the Achilles heel of the standard engine swapped Festiva.

                    Thanks,
                    Donny

i want an Mfactory diff as well although i've never seen any used ones for sale

Eventually if i get more horsepower then my tranny can handle, i may look into a better tranny, not a mazda one though

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Actually after having driven my Yaris for a couple of months I decided your clutch isn't too stiff at all. My only prior comparison was my worn Festiva one.

I've been looking around to no avail so I may just have to bite the bullet. I've seen them as little as $650 shipped new whereas Mfactory direct sells them for $669 plus shipping I think.

I don't plan on having V6+T numbers so I doubt I will venture outside a G-series. Even with the LSD I would assume I would break tires before my transmission.

this is the kit i bought

look similar to the one you have listed, the kit i got looks decent and came with a MLS exhaust manifold gasket, it would be nice if the kit had a MLS head gasket but it doesnt, i would buy the kit like mine and find a oem head gasket or something better like a cometic
