      And your point is?

That's for a stock grenade trans.

Got a few things done this weekend. Painted my bay black.

Also snagged some Bride seats. Just needed a good cleaning.

              And just a fun picture..

Got my wiring semi organized and wrapped. Also mocked up my trans mounts to take to work and weld. Will post pics once welded.

                Rear mount complete..I think...

Used the stock Festiva front trans mount and Festiva rear trans mount to concoct this one. Even though it is thin metal I'm betting the fact that it has been stamped and has two bolting points it will hold up. Only question now is whether or not I should box it in around the rubber. I don't want to have to worry about removing it if it separates.

Somewhat offset to move trans from frame rail. Might still need to do some "modifying" to that.

^Not bad for my first time ever welding I don't think.

Painted it black so I can go faster.

More to come tomorrow for front mount. Mocked up these with some thin bracket. Going to use 1/4" angle iron and will weld the bends together.

                Wish me luck!

Dude just weld them up solid. You will not regret it.

Oh yeah, and the aftermath of keeping the stamped bracket... slicks might have had something to do with it.

Another vote for welding the rear mount solid. I made my own urethane rear mount but I'm just running a b3.

Fit my trans over the weekend. Think I may have offset the rear mount a tad bit too far. Makes it sit a bit cockeyed. Oh well, I'll see how it looks with a motor on it. :-)

Gave a few good whacks to the frame as well but it didn't seem to budge so I hope I'll have enough clearance for front engine servicing.

Here is my many holed front mount setup. May poly the front if I can get around to it.

Just picked up some HX wheels that need a bit of refinishing. Unsure what color I'll go with yet.
