overlap that bracket with another piece of sheetmetal and tac it on the edges. Flexing, vibration and heat will crack that weld at the HAZ area within a few months of driving. I have been there before.

Sprayed my Valve cover with VHT Wrinkle black.
My buddy fab'd a support bracket for my Wastegate actuator since I had to clock the turbo, Both holes wouldn't line up anymore...
And he was working on installing a cage in this mustang...Notice how the owner put a 71mm Borg Warner and a stock 2JZ on AEM stand alone. Makes about 600wheel but takes forever to spool...100hp 100hp 100hp then BAM! 600 and tire smoke lol

Going to fab up a new bracket to make the waste gate actuator work with the way the compressor housing is clocked.
And I ordered a shorter oil feed line, I goofed on the length the first time.
