Idk how a 1.6L would be able to kill a BPT1.8L on 20lbs...never claimed it would.

What I did say was we all should roll race with our GoPros. I think that would be a sweet video. I think your blowing this out of proportion...it's actually pretty funny

yeah timing is everything we added 2 degrees last night on the highway and the plugs look good and no dentonation ( I know that just cause you can't hear it doesn't mean it's there ) but the plugs look ok.



Who knows, this motor might just last me longer than 6 months lol.but I'm sure those ring lands won't like 18psi for very long as they weren't designed to take that much boost.

Timing is everything on tuning, so good luck with that guesswork.

My buddy just tuned my car last night on 18psi IAT's are a little high like 130-140 (75ambiant) because of no inter cooler. And I have no idea where the timing is at because I forgot to put the lower timing cover on this motor lol

plugs don't have aluminum on them so who cares! (Still junkyard motor) the 460's are at 70% duty cycle and were at 10.5 AF ratio (we ran it a little rich because no IC causing high IAT) and from
6500-7000 I'm like 9.0 AFR

I've decided that I'm going to ditch the AC. I have other vehicles that have AC.

I'm not sure how I'm going to route the bypass line yet Charlie it it does look like it will need to be done.

I'm thinking custom water neck on the pump, AN8 fitting and line going up and between the inner timing shroud and the head (where the typical b6t engine mount goes) and back behind the head. That's my best plan so far. Or plug all the cooling ports and run it on 90% nitro, but that means I gotta change the oil every time i start the car and thats just expensive.

What are you going to do about the radiator bypass pipe? Mine doesn't fit anymore so I'm going to re-route the bypass.
