  • Brand new Wideband. NGK AFX

I couldn't find the conversion to get it to work in MS. I still don't have a TPS and I turned off the coolant temp sensor. There's a lot of variables missing here. Just going old school on this junkyard motor. The new motor won't have these variables missing.

(Charlie slaps forehead and sighs) Mark!!!! I know your overworked and underpaid, but your asking for trouble with no TPS and no temp input and AFRs rich enough to start your exhaust on fire. I know you love leaving a carbon footprint everywhere you go, but you can do better than this. We all have faith in you! :p

EDIT: Just watched video, not as bad as I thought, but still rich. Get your ignition timing straightened out. if you don't have the timing cover on then put a white dob of paint in the notch on the lower timing pulley and a red dob of paint on the little arrow on the oil pump and shine the light in there. I think that's how we timed your car at FM6 or FM5. It's actually a better mark then the dampener anyway because those can spin and be clocked wrong (happens on Miatas all the time). Why is your temp sensor disconnected? Why don't you have a TPS?

                      • looking good Mark! I have been playing around with my gt2554 as well. Coolant bypass fits past it pretty good, unlike the 28r.

                        • Thank you for not putting the IC piping under the rad support/sway bar like your first setup :p looks much cleaner that way

                          • I'm loving the look of this build, love the sig btw!

this one is my BP killer (gt2860rs). People are pretty quick to throw away these stout little motors. I just cant wait till one of us makes 300whp on one of these.

Im just saving up for the mfactory and a trans rebuild before i throw it in.

                              • My friend Mario has a shop around me, so hes helping me with the fabrication.... hes a fabricator and loves doing roll cages, wheelie bars and parachute mounts.

Heres a fox he built for a guy in PA. Single turbo on megasquirt 3, CCWs, Crank trigger, LS Coils, 16psi made 807hp 835tq they are tuning it now on the rollers so theres a little more left in it.

Mike bring your FOX down and lets put a turbo on it!

He put a Borg warner 80mm on his 06' Duramax so now its sequential turbo'd Its so nasty! it sounds like a god damn plane taking off lol makes 600hp 1200tq on 40psi
