Re: Thoughts on building a drag car...
I do know that. However his universal ECU is $450 and the EGT specific one is $575...the universal one has the same connection just doesn't come preloaded with all the same stuff.
Have you seen Stratified's product lineup?91GL BP/F3A with boost

Yes and Lex provides support himself until your car is running. No need to worry if I soldered a resistor the size of a flea wrong.91GL BP/F3A with boost

Yeah if you go with the plug and play unit you won't need lex. Mine was running instantly. Follow the instructions load his tune base map bam! Start it. It's tuning that can be a bear. The plug and play unit is ms2 extra works with tuner studio which allows you to use auto tune. You drive it tunes each cell depending on "weight" which is basically fuel load to where you set your afr table. I would say anyone could tune a car with this program.
It's pretty much the Mac daddy!!Last edited by Flyin4stroke; 02-19-2013, 07:29 PM.1988 Ford Festiva "Sonic" BPT g25mr MS2 standalone ecu, FOTY '11, Best Beater FMV, Fan Favorite FMVI
