          I hate winter.

Trying to decide on which flavor of Stratified's PNP ECU I should go for...the one for the EGT or the plain universal one or? I'll be running a festiva harness...

BP ECU's and the B3 ECU uses the same connector, I thought you knew that lol

            1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Re: Thoughts on building a drag car...

I do know that. However his universal ECU is $450 and the EGT specific one is $575...the universal one has the same connection just doesn't come preloaded with all the same stuff.

Have you seen Stratified's product lineup?

Isn't MS much cheaper, there must be a reason why your going with stratified.

The only Ms that's cheaper is a DIY kit...and I don't wanna do that

Ya those DIY kits confuse the hell out of me, it's well worth buying a pre-built unit lol

Yes and Lex provides support himself until your car is running. No need to worry if I soldered a resistor the size of a flea wrong.

Yeah if you go with the plug and play unit you won't need lex. Mine was running instantly. Follow the instructions load his tune base map bam! Start it. It's tuning that can be a bear. The plug and play unit is ms2 extra works with tuner studio which allows you to use auto tune. You drive it tunes each cell depending on "weight" which is basically fuel load to where you set your afr table. I would say anyone could tune a car with this program.

It's pretty much the Mac daddy!!

Only downfall for me is that i wanna go coil on plug, so a plug and play unit is out for me, but I know a guy who will build one for me to what I want
