  • Even more pictures!

So, I mounted the spolier first. I found these plastic inserts and I used stainless screws. I got both of them from Lowes for under $6. I also used this stuff called "fingertip rope caulk" to seal the spoiler to the hatch. it doesnt harden and it only cost $3 for 30 feet of the stuff.

And here she is installed! I used a 5/16" drill bit and #8 stainless screws. This thing is on there good! (Also, dont mind the red car/ blue hatch/ black spoiler, I plan on finding a hatch in better shape and painting it to match. )

I do have ALL the screw caps, I just didnt have the time to prep and paint those today.

Now, onto the mirrors! I painted them with the same semigloss black that I used on the spoiler. There were some deep scratches but after some sanding and paint they dont look to bad.

Once again, let me know what you think!

Thank you very much! It really is a labor of love. Getting these parts painted and on the car just makes me want to get it running even more.

              • So, I got my Oil pressure and coolant temp gauge mounted. I have my oil pressure tee'd into the stock location going to the gauge with a -4AN braided stainless line.

I've never considered an analog oil gauge.. Wondering, do you have to bleed the line to it?

I didn't bleed/ purge the one I have on my probe and seems to work fine.

                    • IT LIVES!

So, I put oil in the car, cranked it over and hooked everything up and fired it a few times. She runs pretty good! Also, The audio is a bit loud and kind of crappy. Sorry about that
