^^You can pull the VSS out of the EGT trans and use the Capri XR2 cable

Probe's use a VSS as well and i just pulled it out of the trans and stuck in the Capri XR2 cable that i have, G series tranny's are remarkably interchangable

Yeah mine has a cable but its unlike the festiva cable on both ends, at the tranny and the gauge cluster.

Does the EGT have a cable speedo? I thought they were electric

You will prolly have to run the egt speedo cable i believe. The way it connects to the tranny is way different.

Hmm, I have not thought about swapping the coolant outlet from a festiva to a BP before... might have to do that with this one.

That's how I get away with ac and a bp. All the b3 front pieces are bolted to my bp. Stock ac, rad, condensor, everything

I don't know what the Festy upper cable is like, but my aspire upper screws to the xr2 lower cable.

Use the speedo gear from an XR2 or 323 GT and it'll interchange with a Festiva speedo cable as well

^ it will work, but not as well as a Denso unit (explained elsewhere in the forum). also i don't believe the Denso is as long as the Bosch unit (affording you more clearance).

Question:

What do you guys do for a speedo cable ? The egt and the festiva have totally different set ups. My EGT had cruise if that makes any difference.
