That is incredible, I'll be using this thread for my upcoming build hopefully. Would you recommend doing the mounts like you did, I won't be using a jackshaft so I think that will eliminate the alternator problems you had. You have OCD, skills and funding, the recipe for an amazing car.

Thanks a lot ! The motor was degreased, powerwashed and hand scrubbed the best I could, then painted with high temp paint. Every chance I get I'll paint or switch out some old crusty hardware with a newer looking replacement, esp. in those areas you see the most.Originally posted by FeistyFesti View PostFresh, that is some incredible ingenuity and excellent fab skills. why did you have to use glue? I would imagine, using the stock timing belt cover from the escort would be the way to go?
