        The first snag of the day happened when I tried to install a Oxygen sensor. Hadnt thought much about it, guess I should have. The OBX header has the bung hole on the wrong side and guess what, it lines up perfectly with the lower radiator tube. Had to take the header off (which required loosening up the radiator and moving it to the side) so I could drop it down to install the sensor. After that I had the standard 1/16" clearance. The highlight of the day was finding a plug in the EGT harness that matched the stock festiva plug so I only had to splice the wire once. A small but celebrated victory.

              looks like a Bosch sensor... correct?
              Trees aren't kind to me...

              currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
              94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

                  Question:

                  What do you guys do for a speedo cable ? The egt and the festiva have totally different set ups. My EGT had cruise if that makes any difference.

                    ^ it will work, but not as well as a Denso unit (explained elsewhere in the forum). also i don't believe the Denso is as long as the Bosch unit (affording you more clearance).

                      Hmm, I have not thought about swapping the coolant outlet from a festiva to a BP before... might have to do that with this one.

                        Use the speedo gear from an XR2 or 323 GT and it'll interchange with a Festiva speedo cable as well

                          I don't know what the Festy upper cable is like, but my aspire upper screws to the xr2 lower cable.

                            That's how I get away with ac and a bp. All the b3 front pieces are bolted to my bp. Stock ac, rad, condensor, everything

                              You will prolly have to run the egt speedo cable i believe. The way it connects to the tranny is way different.

                                Does the EGT have a cable speedo? I thought they were electric
