I was gonna run the rear racelands...didn't feel like making the bottom bushing and bolt fit. And the shock body seems way too long, per advancedynamix setup.

how did you know what length to make those standoffs that the caliper mounted to. ive never seen a rig like that before, very intersting. and what do you call the male looking part that the bearing slide on to?

Small updated. Got the rear Raceland shocks installed. started to run the escort gt parking brake cable. Notched the frame to clear the Supermiata damper, still needs some finish welding.

Well I finished the rear disc rear end for the blue car, hopefully I can install it soon. I also brought the grey car to our new home! Now any time i get the urge to work on it the car will be in the garage instead of at my mothers! Wish i had a mig so i could fab up some mounts!

thanks! the Russian made the plates. I may be able to get a someone to make a couple sets but it probably wont be for a while due to all the funds are going to the festiva right now. Next hurdle is to figure out how to make the parking brake cable work or maybe add a hydraulic ebarke?

I got it all dry fitted. I think I will need some longer studs and maybe another wheel spacer.

I was replacing the bearing and races on the hubs Russian made for me. I was having a problem with the outer race. The #4 bearing set race was to small! I thought maybe they put the wrong bearing in the box. So I went to 2 different Mcauto parts to come and find out that the drum the Russian used to make the hubs is actully from a Kia rio!
This wouldn't work due to I have Aspire spindles! So now i'm waiting for a new set of hubs.
So the next order of business was finding the mounting bolts for the calipers. I took the calipers to Ace Hardware to try and figure out what thread I needed. Well I couldn't get anything to thread in. So after some research I found out its m10 x1.25 thread. So I ran a tap threw the threads and they where nasty!! These are new calipers I got from Rock Auto. Apparently they didn't use a very good tap. So everything is dry fitted for now. Still need to get some brake fittings so I can bend up the line. Does anyone know what size thread the banjo bolt going into the caliper is? Would there be any issue with using a straight fitting as appose to using the banjo bolts? I want to avoid useing flex lines on the calipers due to the are not necessary.
