This mount is pretty much in the right place with the spacers I mentioned.

However if you see in my build thread, http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...a-build-thread, I am still having troubles with the steering rack. And I am a perfectionist so it has to be right before I can move forward.

Driver. Not sure where the transmission is on the passenger side.

I am having trouble with the trans hitting the rack.

man im so jealous! i wish i lived in fl to hook up with you guys, there arent any hard core festiva tuners around my way. matt (resurwrected) lives 3hrs away so we cant hook up much.

1.0900 actually. Put a caliper to it.

But my question rides. Does this position the engine in the most desirable location?

7/8" to 1" thick spacers

Just held the bracket up there. Looks to be no thinner than 1" maybe 1-1/16".
And this will position that side of the engine properly?
