Well.. The car is getting half aspire swapped this week, parked it for now, front wheel bearing is on it's way out. Getting new bearings pressed in my aspire hubs tomorrow at work, should have it back on the road before the end of the week

Thanks, fronts rub only when wheels are turned full lock or close and I hit a good bump or pothole.. etc, but that rarely happens.

                    Coming soon! New intake!

Mocked it up today, will be in for good soon as I get a smaller battery. Got it order, just waiting.. going to put the battery on the passenger side behind the headlight. Looks much better!

Glad you kept it under the hood. i never liked the idea of having a battery gassing into the pass compartment. I wanted to put a gel from a Harley in 300+ cca. But, student status meant no money to play...

                            New battery!

Picked up the new batt today, perfect fit! I need to find or fab up a tray to mount it on but it fits like a glove. It's originally intended for a newer honda civic.. I've worked on lots of those for my job and remembered they had small batts so I thought I'd give it a shot.

If I can come up with something to use for a try I will install it tomorrow, run new cables, etc.. If anyones interested I can make a write up on battery relocation while keeping it under the hood. I'm sure some of the guys running swaps here are interested in a clean solution to keep it under the hood, and be able to run a nice intake set up.

Why not just put it in the hatch?

I believe he said something about not liking it taking up room in the hatch.

Makes since to me. I wouldn't want to route the wires back up to the engine bay.
