^ dang, you guys beat me to it... i was just about to say flip the batt around so the neg. is closest to the body, that way when your putting on or taking off the cables, you dont hit the fender with the wrench and weld your wrench to the fender and melt down the battery...

Calm down guys that was just a mock up... I flipped it the other way for final install.

Anyways here it is now, got the cables ran and a makeshift mount for the battery for now. Going to make a better tray for it, just had to do something for now since it's my daily driver.

                  Few small updates..

                  New shoes on the front.

Replaced some things on the interior that had seen better days, pass shoulder belt, pass side window reg, drivers auto belt track assembly.

Swapped the painted silver handles out to black ones, I like some contrast.

Rerouted the throttle cable to clean things up, I'm liking how it looks under the hood now Going to clean in up further sometime, cut off unneeded brackets, weld up holes, etc.. then respray it.

Grill looks nice. Good to see things are coming along!

You're bumpers could use a fresh coat of trim paint though. Blacken 'em up a bit!

Thanks! Not painting anything until I paint the whole car, and I'll probably pick up some smooth GL bumpers or buy a kit from Ernst if I have the $$$ to.

Met a fellow festiva enthusiast several months back, going to look at his cars and buy some parts this weekend! He has a complete silver one, red and blue parts cars and several aspires! Going to pick up a rear beam to complete my aspire swap! Score!

I can't tell you how cool it is to be able to watch my car after I have sold it. I have owned and sold many cars and always wonder how they are fairing. We should collaborate on a FOTM entry.
                            Going old school...

I bet! I wonder where some of my old cars are now too! That would be cool! I've still got a ways to go before it's even close to done
