I hope if you actually have a genuine SVO it is severely wrecked or something. As much as I love Festivas, I can't imagine parting out one of the rarest model Mustangs if its at all salvageable. Even then, It still has value. The hood is worth more than most Festivas! There's a ton of Fox body cars and 2.3 turbo motors available for parts.
I know kev and this svo, in his defence the svo stangs are not worth what they used to be, especially modded ones. I know a guy that had 3 (all stock) setting next to his shop for a few years for sale, not one offer. The only people buying these right now are hard core collectors and they can get some nice ones for around $3500-$4000, drivers for way less and on the high end- very low mileage pristine originals around $8k-12k, many on craigslist right now.

Out here the svo stangs are actually a fairly common site.
    Production numbers for 84 mustangs:
    LX 5.0/GT Convertible (P27M): 7,643
LX 5.0 Sedan (P26M): 1,395 (448 of them Special Service)
    LX 5.0/GT Hatchback (P28M): 29,142
    GT Turbo Convertible (P27W): 731
    GT Turbo Hatchback (P28W): 3,241
    SVO Hatchback (P28T): 4,507
Note that out of 6 models 3 are actually more rare than the svo, the special service (cop cars) are very hard to find in decent condition.

I say GO man GO, Can't wait to ride in it. banana time

LOL, well OK then. I've only seen 2 SVO's ever around here. But, I know of at least 3 ex-police Stangs all within about 2 miles of here. I guess it all depends on the area. Any decent Fox body will bring 3k around here.

I will admit, it will be an interesting swap. Hmmm..I have a 71 Pinto that would be good for such a swap.

Let me know if you need any parts. My brother has 2 '79 Turbo 2.3 Pace Cars that are basically parts cars. He's been wanting to sell them or part them out.

you guys are killin' me! I can't find a turbo Fox body out here to save my soul!! I would absolutely KILL for a '79-'84 turbo Stang, or any SVO (but the '86 is my fav).

With that said, I can't wait to see the finished car!!

ive removed all the suspension since this pic and the interior is completley gutted..... again.
the dash ect is all out.
this thanksgiving weekend i will be removing the mustang frontend and cutting the festy floor and making a trans tunnel.
its totally possible to fit the engine and trans the hard part is gunna be the suspension and steering bc the festy stuff is usless due to the steering rack being in the way, i will keep u guys updated as much as possible. i dont have much time to post bc i own my own trucking company and am only home for weekends.

Not finding anything solid on the 79, some are saying 7000, but unsure of how many had the turbo 4.

Fox body stangs out here are a dime a dozen, all day long for $500-$1000  and of course all the "modded" ones that people think are worth at least twice of what they paid for all the mods.
