Had the boys helping me today and got a lot done. Engine and transmission are out, struts and shocks are out, interior is all cleaned up and just about ready for sound deadener, dash is out too. Just have to pull the heater ducts then the deadener can go in. Also got the front hubs off. Thank you Elias and Isaac!

I think stock pillar color looks better. Doing other small accents on the car like a pinstripe detail will draw any eye just as well.

As for the intercoolers, I'd use the Supra one. It seems to be the most efficient

On the ICs: I'd go with one of the two factory ones. They tend to be a lot more resistant to vibration and debris (I know you're planning on racking up a lot of miles on this car) and IIRC according to Mr. Bell the 'tanks run the long side' arrangement is a bit more efficient. Since it seems that you're looking at going well above factory power I'd go with the Supra one.

Black. Especially with tinted windows and black mirrors and bumpers.

I'm also partial to the body color pillar/window surround. If you do it in black Vinyl then you can go back if you decide you don't like it.

i like the teal but im biased! hahahaha

use the aluminium FMIC. It will look nice in the front of the FMS bumper, and provide some cooler IAT temps then the other ones.

I think the black adds a accent that improves the looks on that color for sure, most I prefer with the blackouts on.

I'd like your opinion on something to do with the "new" car. It is an L model which means the front widow frame and the B-pillar are body color. Like this...

My red car is a GL Sport and has the window frame and B-pillar painted black. I trying to decide if I should paint the frame and pillar black. I've just put electrical tape on to see what it might look like...

What do you think? Keep in mind that the side windows will have limo tint on them like the red car...

    Thanks

Decisions... decisions. Which intercooler to use?

Top left is from a Mk3 Toyota Supra.
Top right is stock Mazda 323GT.
Bottom is a 21"x7"×2 1/4" aftermarket front mount.

Even considering going without and adding water/method injection in the manner than Charlie did on Tweak.

Got started on the new car this afternoon. Seats are out, grill headlights etc are out too. Assessing what will stay and what will go.

Glad it went to a good home! I'm going to miss the girl. But due to lack of time, I much much rather see it go to someone who will use it then let it rot away.
