On my civic radiator I made bigger inlet and outlet to accept the b6t radiator hose size, but you can leave it alone and run stock festiva size hose. Stock hose works on the top, but you have to get creative on the bottom. You can make your own lower rad support that will fit the civic radiator, and enjoy dirt cheap racing radiators.

it cranks like a mofo! im sure my custom 2ga cables I made don hurt anything either...I am a firm believer in grounds.

I need a radiator, but im not sure which way to go. The lower already appears to need some creativity with the pacesetter header

Got a radiator and all in tonight. Waiting on a lower hose which will require some mods due to the header. Hopefully it gets driven tomorrow!

Your build is especially motivating to me. I am planning on turboing my B3 since I am having a hard time locating any of the popular b series swaps. I also wanted a g series tranny on my B3T because i wanted an overbuilt, "bulletproof" tranny. I want to drive my festiva hard without guilt or fear of breakage. i didn't want to waste my time upgrading my e series.

What year Rio is your transmission out of? Can you point me to any threads on late rio's that have been helpful to you? I can't seem to find much.

I know how to use the search function, I just don't always choose to use it. New modifications, solutions, and information are discovered every day and I want to know what the current concensus is for whatever topic I have in mind. Thank you for understanding this!

His trans is not a Rio trans they are cable clutch and f series with g series axe spline count .
His is escort gt. There info here on both trans swaps. And a few different cable options . Like volvo cable . Honda cable (way to long) and the mustang cable. There's also the door hinge method . For going hydro to cable.

Ah I see, I must have confused it with another thread.

I assume an early 90's escort gt huh. I've only been coming across automatic transmissions late escorts.

                          Anyways, thanks guys

been having a cooling issue since install, or should I say a heating issue. would run 160* or so with a 192 stat in it. Installed a protégé tstat and got it warm as it should be, but still no heater previous engine owner swaped the heater hoses on the engine causing incorrect flow...about to fix that and on to interior!
