I've used lots of the little tricks I've learnt from what I saw you do with tweak. I'm sure I could pick up a lot more if you have any other documented work.

But yeah. I ain't telling you anything you haven't already heard from the guys.

Wait....you sold Tweak???

Yeah. It was time. The only way I'm going to build anything better is to miss what I had. Tweak is very loved at her new home, she spends every night right next to another 93 festy in a nice garage. I get pictures of her travels a couple times a week. Here is one I received today.

I'd still like to see someone doing some 30lbs of boost engine builds, stage 3 head porting, the g series gear mod. Or maybe even an m90 supercharger on a BP with a rear turbo

Probably won't be able to do the twisties like tweak though.

I didn't think either you or JT had to get the inspection. They typically only do the CARB equipment inspection when the car is from out of state, in order to get a CA title. Otherwise its just an emissions test, and the engine swap doesn't go on the title or VIN plate of the car. Also, I didn't say Tweak was the first, I said it was the only one, because JT's car is dismantled and I thought yours was wrecked. I didn't know you had built another. Did you have the VIN plate changed to specify the swap?

The current owner had it inspected by the California Air Research Board (CARB) team of engineers and it was officially given the CARB stamp of approval. Tweak may be the only legally documented CARB approved B6t Festiva. The door sticker now reads DOHC 16v Turbocharged 1.6L! This may be one of my most proud accomplishments, as the CARB engineers are not easy to impress. The entire inspection facility was abuzz while Tweak was under the microscope and it not only passed the first time, it left an impression with the engineers about Festivas. Since then, Tweak has lived the easy life in sunny southern California.

Me too Jerry. I have taken a bit of a Festiva break, for school and crazy work schedule, but I'm going to try to get Pedro running asap. I miss driving a Festy and I've wanted a nice balance between Tweak and Babe. Good power with good mileage, a comfy interior, my latest suspension mods and a CD player with bluetooth. lol. The simple things.

Babe and Tweak. The two new owners work together, so they still get to be friends. Tweaks owner also has a red 93 GL with 2.5" exhaust, Advance V1 coilovers, Aspire brakes and 15" Rota slipstreams. His mother bought it new in 93 and he inherited it, you all know what happens next… madness!
