    • Found a supplier for the proper Festiva drums to be redrilled for a 4x100 bolt pattern. $49.xx out the door from Autozone. Can't beat that.

                      • Why didn't you just get drums off rock auto Gomez?? Or switch it to calipers

And my Festiva is primer surfaced right now. I'm blocking it. Wet sanding with 400. Then I'll be priming with white. And painting it bright red. Two bold racing strips with pin strips next to them that will be bright white matching my engine an tranny. The interior will be all white plastics and ceiling. Red carpet with black matts. And bucket seats with a rear upholstered to match will be posting thread of it all when I'm done

                          • Be careful ordering those from Autostoned. I ordered the exact same ones, and the pic on the website always shows the correct design too. Went to pick them up and they had switched to the wrong design. It's a crap shoot. I think the older the stock you happen to get when it comes in the better your chances, but I can't confirm that.
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

                            • Been doing a lot of daily driver swapping (with Donny and Rob) lately and getting them running nicely but my build is still coming along. Mostly just buying more parts and stuff like that. Finally decided to go with a built n/a BP. It is in the engine bay already, 2 mounts are made and the passenger mount is this weekend. Got my Mishimoto Civic radiator today so I will be mocking it up this weekend too. Initial test fit was tight but very well what I expected and wanted out of it in general. The engine will be getting pulled by the end of the month. As soon as it is out it will be time to start with the engine bay final touches (i.e. welding, fabricating other stuff, paint etc.). Then literally all that will be left is to install all the new parts and wait for the engine. Been working 65+ hr weeks at work to get the car done quicker (money-wise). Looking like mid Nov or so for the final product.

Also been spying a 18,000 mile 93 GL I found last weekend. Gonna give the little old lady another week or so before I ask about it again. That will make a nice auto/BP and Rio swapped dd. Can't wait to see if that happens.
